Who is NAPA Transportation Inc.?
Founded in 1991 with 4 trucks, NAPA Transportation Inc. proudly celebrated our 25th year of business in 2016. Today we operate over 1200 pieces of company owned equipment (340 Trucks, 900 Trailers) and proudly employ over 400 hard-working associates. Despite many changes & challenges along the way, we have always remained true to the two fundamental principles that have paved the way for our success, our commitments to our Drivers & our Customers.
What makes us different from other transportation companies?
We believe and live in the motto that our drivers are most important to us and are treated as part of our family. This is written as the core component of our mission statement, which lends to the most quality and reliable service to our customers.

Is NAPA Transportation affiliated with NAPA Auto Parts?
While we do have "NAPA Know How", it's within our business of Transportation and Logistics Services. The National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA), also known as NAPA Auto Parts, is known for their NAPA Know How in distributing automotive replacement parts, accessories and service items in North America. The two companies are not affiliated in any way.
What kind of services do we offer?
NAPA has always been an Asset Based Regional Transportation Truckload Carrier. With 3 terminal locations in Virginia and our corporate office in Mechanicsburg, PA, our trucks can typically be seen traveling on I-81 & I-95 from NC thru the Middle-Atlantic up to New York State & Maine. We specialize in the transport of Food & Grocery products, providing our customers with late model food grade equipment. Our mixed fleet of Dry Van & Refrigerated trailers allows us to handle a range of protective classes for our customers including ambient, fresh, frozen & heated products.
What is NorthEast Logistics Services?
While we remain dedicated to our Asset-Based Truckload model, our services have grown to include logistics & brokerage solutions thru Northeast Logistics Services Inc., established in 2010 as a division of NAPA Transportation. Northeast Logistics offers our customers a single source solution for their daily transportation challenges by providing coverage throughout all 48 states. NLS also provides 3PL services such as Freight Management, LTL Routing & Load Optimization, Cross-docking & Warehousing.
What does it mean to be a SmartWay Transport Partner?
Freight shippers, carriers, logistics companies and other stakeholders partner with EPA to measure, benchmark and improve logistics operations so they can reduce their carbon footprint.
Through SmartWay technology verification and branding, EPA has accelerated availability, adoption and market penetration of fuel-saving technologies and operational practices while helping companies save fuel, lower costs and reduce adverse environmental impacts
EPA works with a broad range of national and global organizations to harmonize global carbon accounting methods in the freight sector. SmartWay also provides support to global policy makers that wish to model transportation sustainability programs after the SmartWay program.
